Originally released with a vinyl record in a deluxe box set, his hardcover discusses and shows pictorially the making of the classic movie Ben-Hur. For those who are interested in old Hollywood classic movies and movies of Mr Charlton Heston, this book will be ideal. It subscribes the story of the film, the making of it, its cast and its maker. The tiny book is nicely illustrated with black and white and color illustrations of the film. The spectacular "car racing" in the arena is beautifully photographed and the complete atmosphere of the movie comes clear in a book that is made at the end of the fifties, which gives the book some authenticity. The book can be combined with the book "the epic films" which is published in 1974 and describes all mayor spectacular and epic films.
