Published by the State Publishing Co, Liverpool, State Series, No 1731/2.
Postally used on 15 September 1912 with double circle Liverpool cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss Checkland, 52 Bebington Road, Rock Ferry, Cheshire and redirected, with single circle Birkenhead postmark, to New Ferry on the following day.
Fair condition, with much corner and edge wear, lifting and flaking of glaze and small crease to bottom left corner.
