Simplicity 5774 sewing pattern . This 1996 vintage pattern can be used to make a child's dress and lined quilted or plain vest in a size 4. The pattern has been cut out already. Please see the pattern inventory for details.

CHILD'S'DRESS AND LINED QUILTED OR PLAIN VEST:
Dress has gathered skirt stitched to bodice above normal waistline, back elastic casing, back zipper and set-in sleeves gathered to armholes. V. 1 and 2 have collar, front belt. buttoned back belt, long sleeves gathered to buttoned cuffs and ribbon bow. V. 1 has cuff ruffle and lace and ribbon trim. V. 2 has contrast collar. Lace trimmed V.3 has neck binding, elbow-length sleeves gathered to sleeve band and ribbon sash. Lace trimmed vest V. 1 is self quilted.

FABRICS:
Cotton types: broadcloth, chambray calico, gingham. Lightweight linen types. V. 2 collar also in pique. V. 1 and 2 vest and V. 3 dress also in corduroy, velveteen. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs. Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.

NOTIONS:
Thread. Dress: 30cm zipper, seam tape or stretch lace. Dress V. 1 and 2: Four 1cm buttons. V. 3: Two 1cm buttons.
