Sharin’-a-little-bit® is excited to share with you another of our cloth dolls with raffia hair created from the wood & cloth version of the same little boy, Thomas J.
Your overwhelming interest in our wooden dolls served as our inspiration in designing this new line of cloth dolls. Sharin’-a-little-bit® hopes you will enjoy them as much as we have enjoyed creating them for you.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Please read all instructions before beginning.
A ¼” seam allowance is included on all pattern pieces unless otherwise stated.
Pattern pieces can be traced on tracing paper in order to keep your original pattern intact or the pattern provided may be cut out.
Materials Needed
1 yd. Muslin for Doll body
¾ yd. for Knickers
½ yd. Fabric for Shirt
½ yd. Denim for Hat
¼ yd. for Necktie
1/3 yd. Ribbing for Socks
Scrap for Suspenders
Fiberfil
2 Large buttons (suspenders)
4 Small buttons (knickers)
½ yd. of ½” bias tape
Strap of “Kunin” felt for shoes
Beige embroidery floss
1/8” Elastic
Accessories
4 Raflets or 4 oz. Natural untreated raffia
1½ ft. 19 gauge Black bailing wire
#2 Pigma pen (face detail)
Blush for cheeks
2 Small axle pegs (for nose)

Pattern includes directions & full size pattern for doll & clothing.
Measurements based on 44/45” (111.8/114.3 cm) fabric.

The instructions/patterns measure approximately 5½” x 8½” (14 x 21.7 cm).
