Great *RARE* antique leather fine binding hardback book from 1849 by George Grote on the history of Greece (see photos for content pages). Photo 3 shows the lovely marbled design page edges. Photo 24 shows antique pen writing from 1858 on an initial blank page but binding and other pages inside are in superb condition especially as the book is 175 years old.
NOTE: THIS IS THE ONLY COPY FOR SALE ON (UK & INTERNATIONALLY) AT TIME OF LISTING!
Measures 22.5cm tall x 14cm wide x 4.25cm thick. Weighs just over 1.1kg.
