The monograph Krasnoyarsk, SFU 2016 is devoted to the important and little-researched problem-history of social assistance in the context of the wars of the twentieth century. On documentary and journalistic materials about Siberia, the authors reveal the contradictory processes of formation and implementation of measures of social support to the victims of military actions during the years of the Russian-Japanese (1904-1905), World First (1914-1918) and Great Patriotic (1941-1945) wars. It contains a summary material on the role of institutions governed on special grounds, the specifics of their activities in the conditions of the wars of the beginning of the twentieth century.
