inform you this
stamps, and the
others from the same
set are forgeries.
This one can be
identified from this
text:
The POSTAGE &
REVENUE scroll
touches the frame
below at the right.
The left hand corner
ornaments are
centred to the right
inside their frames.
C of CENTS is
taller than it is
wide. There is no
rope from the mast
to bowsprit.
I do this often,
although not on this
website (Ebay
mainly) as most
items from this set
that come up for
sale are forgeries.
I do this for
everybodies sake and
to ensure as many
buyers and sellers
as possible know
this to be the case.
I can send you 5 or
6 pages of the
details from a book
on this if you are
interested.
