The rarest edition of the early nineteenth century is one of the first scientific descriptions of the Kola Peninsula (the city of Kola) and Astrakhan. The description was drawn up on the basis of the expedition of the explorer and naturalist I. I. Lepekhin, whose closest collaborator was the famous Russian local historian, naturalist and geographer Nikolai Yakovlevich Ozeretsky (1750-1827).
