• Comments: Leicester is an East Midlands city in England with just over a third of a million people, and is over two thousand years old. It has a really nice Space Centre/Museum – but this does not feature on the map as it predates this – though it does mention the nearby Museum of Technology. Images included are of the Clock Tower on the Front Cover (with an aircraft contrail behind), the Abbey Ruins, Bradgate Park deer and Foxton Locks. This Mini-Guide contains a city and countryside map, tells you where to go and what entertainment is available. Would be useful for someone trying to compare tourism in the 1970’s to today, or anyone nostalgic about Leicester in the 1970’s.
