AOAP19 This is a rarely found specialist postcard of this painting by Michael Kirkbride called Drawing Class showing students learning to paint that was part of an annual awards event with artist and painting identification on reverse which this award souvenir is unused and mint.
"....Kirkbrides paintings are essentially conjured from the minds eye, using imagination, visual memory, and observation. Magazines and the internet provide further sources of information, however drawing is the primary tool within his creative process. Each painting will evolve from the accrual of many animated thoughts and sketches, which eventually amalgamate into a cohesive composition solution, this continues to evolve and change during the painting process itself....."
