New, old stock Lucas No. 228179 3-brush set for dynamo models C45NV (all), C45N/2 type A86/1, C45EB type A53/0 and E418ML. Supersedes Lucas 203150 set. Remax equiv. CB365 & CB374. C.I. equiv.174/206. Repackaged for autojumble sales so no longer with their original box.
Lucas listed applications: BSA "Scout" Series 5 (except some early Series 5 with C45E dynamos ); Commer 8cwt Van 1938; Hillman Minx 1936-39; MG 10hp 1937-39; Morris 8 "UB" 1935-6, 8hp & GPO Van Series I, 8hp Series II, 10/4 & 12/4 Series II, Commercial "LC" 1938; Singer Bantam & Ten 1938; Standard A9S and AL10S 1937, Flying 9 and 10 1938, 9 & 10hp Super & De Luxe 1939, Flying 10 & 12, A10S A12S AL12S & 14A 1937, Flying 12 & 14 1938/9; Wolseley 10hp Wasp 1936, 12hp Hornet 1936, 10/40 & 12/48 Series II. Plus some other obscure apps. Cut-off years are not absolute. Use above dynamo model designation as your criterion.
Dimensions: Main brushes - 0.747 x 0.278in cross-sect, length 0.75in. Control brush - 0.75 x 0.1in cross-sect, length 0.75in.
