Monochrome real photographic postcard showing a view of two boys and a pair of oxen using a mechanism for making Gingely Oil, Gingelly Oil or Sesame Oil. Other cards from this set with notes to the back with the same handwriting are all of Madras in India, so this is probably in the same area.
Publisher or photographer not stated, not numbered, Kodak photo paper, c.1940.
Postally unused, but titled in pencil to the back.
Excellent condition, with extremely slight corner bumps. The Cornovia Postcards watermark is used to protect the image in case the purchaser wishes to publish, and does not appear on the actual postcard.
