Original Vintage, Rare, Horror Film Scripts
All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.
This item: An original, vintage Revised Draft script for this famous horror movie using the Peter Pan terminology for the title of the movie; the original idea came from Janice Fischer and James Jeremias; Joel Schumacher was approached to direct the film although Richard Donner did get credit as an executive producer. He wanted the the film to be sexier and more adult, and hired screenwriter Jeffrey Boam to rewrite the script and raise the ages of the characters. Boam also wrote, among other screenplays the scripts for Lethal Weapn 2 and 3 as well as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The script comprises 101 pages, including all dialogue and movement and is bound securely by two brads and with red card cover. What makes this a more interesting script is that to the top right of the front cover is the name Don Abblett (PAINT) whose script this was; Donald R. Abblett is listed as Art Department 'stand-by painter' in the credits and was involved in such movies as The Truman Show, A Perfect World, A Few Good Men and City Slickers amongs others. Such vintage screenplays are rarely offered and are a great addition to any collection. Rare

Fråga Från mdlg [0] Lör 09 aug 2025 13:53:53 (CEST) Hi,
Could you confirm the punch holes don't have shadows, please? Could you share picture of a few pages, please?
Matt

Svar från Maxgol [+512] Sön 10 aug 2025 11:00:18 (CEST) Hi Matt: Not sure what you mean by the shadows, which simply are shadows resulting from the direction of light, when photographed. The photos are accurate page representations and reflect a clean copy with minor outer edge wear. Regars, Richard

Fråga Från mdlg [0] Sön 10 aug 2025 11:23:08 (CEST) Hi Richard,
Sorry – I should have been clearer. The pictures of the script are great. I'm wanting to see a few sheets where the holes are punched for the brads, please – to see if there are shadows around the holes from photocopying.
Bests,
Matt

Svar från Maxgol [+512] Sön 10 aug 2025 14:30:45 (CEST) Hi Matt: Again (sorry) not too sure of your request - The front cover brads are secure and the inner pages of the script do not show the brads as they are closely secured by the brads. The images are via my camera (I'm an amateur!) and not photocopied. Hope this is of some help. Best wishes, Richard
