VIOLET CHINTZ - sugar and creamer – LEFTON
This is a narrow swirl SUGAR and CREAMER set in the famous VIOLET CHINTZ pattern. They are made by LEFTON China and decorated with gold trim, tiny violets and green leaves. The sugar bowl is approximately 3 ¾" tall (to top of egg shaped finial) and 3 ¾" across. The cream pitcher is approximately 3 ¾" tall.
Both are handpainted with the well known blue and gold crown like those used 1956-1967 and the number 912 on the bottom.
These appear to be in good condition as I find no chips, cracks or crazing but there is a match head size spot of gold loss on one of the sugar bowl handles.
