HEIRLOOM ELEGANCE - jam jar and underplate – LEFTON
This is an HEIRLOOM ELEGANCE JAM JAR and UNDERPLATE made by LEFTON. It has lovely flowers in shades of pink accented with teal and yellow and gold trim around the scalloped top while the finial is covered with gold. The jam jar is approximately 4 ½" tall, the underplate is approximately 6" across and the clear plastic spoon is approximately 4 ½" long.
Both pieces have the gold crown over L used 1963 - 1969 on the bottom and the number 5386 is on the bowl. JAPAN is on the back of the plastic spoon.
This beautiful set appears to be in fair or better condition and will display very nicely as I can find no chips, cracks or crazing, but there is some gold loss on the finial. I have exagerated the gold loss in the picture of the finial so you can see the loss.
