Portrait of Lady Anne Isabella Byron; bust to front, head turned and looking to the left, touching veil with her right hand over shoulder.
Lady Anne Isabella Noel Byron was the wife of poet George Gordon Byron.
Engraved by William Henry Mote (1803 - 1871). He was an English stipple and line engraver, primarily known for his portraits. He produced etchings for reference books, as well as original etchings. Mote became a member of the Royal Academy in his twenties and his portraits hang in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
