Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1963 Don Sharp Hammer Horror Movie KISS OF THE VAMPIRE starring Noel Willman, Clifford Evans, Edward De Souza, Jennifer Daniel, Isobel Black, Barry Warren, Brian Oulton, Noel Howlett and Peter Madden.
Thoughtful and entertaining Dracula-style Hammer horror, with scary sequences and a good old-fashioned battle between good and evil. Willman, a character actor who specialised in chilly villains, stars as the mysterious Dr Ravna who ensnares British newlyweds holidaying in Bavaria at the turn of the 19th century.
Terrific artwork by Joseph Smith (1912 - 2003). Specialist in American Horror and Sci-Fi movie posters, including: “Blood of the Vampire”, “The Brides of Dracula”, “Curse of the Werewolf”, “The Day of the Triffids”, “The Day the Earth Caught Fire”, “The Giant Behemoth”, “Gorgo”, “Horror of Dracula”, “It Came From Outer Space”, “Kiss of the Vampire”, “The Mole People”.
The poster is in very good folded condition with slight soft creasing at the top right.
