Jukka Pekka Saraste Conductor Mahler Concert Hand Signed Autograph

cha2356  A rare opportunity to secure this original large 8" x 6" autograph for classical conductor Jukka Pekka Saraste who has personally signed the souvenir page where his signature rests perfectly undedicated and bar very lightly aged this is outstanding condition. (please note this autograph was obtained at a Mahler concert he lead at the Symphony Hall on 10th October 2001 (see scan).

"...Saraste was born in Heinola. He was trained as a violinist. He later studied conducting at the Sibelius Academy with Jorma Panula in the same class as Esa-Pekka Salonen and Osmo Vänskä. Before becoming a conductor, Saraste was coprincipal second violinist and later an associate to Leif Segerstam, with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSO).Saraste was awarded the Finnish State Prize for Music in 2000. He has received a Doctor honoris causa from York University (Toronto), and he is a Sibelius Medallist. Other honours also include the Sibelius Prize, awarded in Norway..."
