Great antique LARGE HEAVY fine binding hardback book from 1900 containing bound issues of The Strand Magazine from January to June 1900. Volume 19. 

Includes the first ever published 1st edition Arthur Conan Doyle story "Playing With Fire". Also includes the Arthur Conan Doyle story "The Crime Of The Brigadier". 

Contains photos and illustrations throughout. Photo 5 shows a stain on the page edge of the first few pages. Photo 24 shows vintage tape repair on the creases of the inside cover and inside back cover but maybe preventative as opening and closing the covers feel good. Photos 14 to 19 show the index pages. Other pages inside are in nice condition especially as the book is 125 years old. 

Measures 23.5cm tall x 17cm wide x 4.25cm thick. Weighs 1.6kg.
