All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  NOT A PRESSBOOK - I KNOW!  A 3 sided letter hand-written by the late Peter Wyngarde (1927 - 2018) in which he exclusively discusses his involvement in this well-regarded, classic horror movie. Contents include major Hollywood stars whom Jack Clayton, the director, claimed were interested in the part; his thought that Peter Quint was the 'appitomy (sic) of all evil', Clayton's direction of 'lovely' Deborah Kerr, his being kept apart from the children, 'an uncanny reaction', and much much more. Mr Wyngard'es handwriting is legible but small so he packs a great deal of detail and wording to each fully written side (with crossings out and emendations). A copy of this original item was used by the Museum of the Moving Picture in Bradford. A photocopy of the letter of the former secretary of the now defunct Peter Wyngarde Appreciation Society will accompany this piece for its verification. A true one off and a unique item for any horror collection.  Unique / Rare

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Fine - / Very Good ++-:  single letter fold; excellent corners and edges ; very pleasing condition. (Please see photos for fuller detail; feel free to ask a specific question on condition).
