This item:    An original release set of 8 UK Front of House / Lobby cards for this giant monster movie - interestingly, no card here, nor the US Lobby cards, show the monster - too scary? too silly?  Star Jeff Morrow stated that no actor on the movie knew what the creature would look like and his first viewing came at a US theatre where audience laughter ensured his early exit home to take a stiff drink. That said the movie is well enough made and similar to many other 1950s monster movies, it's just the monster special effects bring a smile rather than fear to one's face. It continues to have cult appeal and the paper on it in the UK is rather rare.  Very Scarce

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) : Very Good ++ -:   no pin-holes;  very good corners and edges with light wear; overall, a very good set. (see photos for further detail; feel free to ask for specific detail.) Very Scarce
