Fiji 1971 / 1977 - Birds and Flowers definitives - see below - MM (ref 477)

Some time ago I acquired a collection of Fiji stamps, and in this collection found stamps representing the three different issues of the “Birds and Flowers” definitives in the years 1971 to 1977 (ie sg 435/450, 459/473 and 505/520). When I transferred the stamps into my own album, I attempted to check the watermarks of the stamps, and have tried on several occasions since. I have found it extremely difficult to determine the watermark of most of the stamps, and of the few that I have managed to identify some have not been for the correct of the three sets. The images above show the stamps as sorted into the three sets by a previous owner, but I cannot guarantee that such identification is correct. I am therefore listing this lot at a good price, and hopefully the buyer will receive a bargain!

In view of the foregoing, I can offer no refund on this lot - if you buy it, you keep it!

General perforation conditions can be seen in the above image. Abbreviations used in my listings are:-

(a) UMM = unmounted mint = MNH mint never hinged 
(b) MM = mounted mint = hinged mint. MM may also be used for stamps that would be UMM except for a small amount of gum disturbance approximating to a light stamp hinge effect on the gum.
(c) LMM = lightly mounted mint
(d) VLMM = very lightly mounted mint
(e) MNG = mint but no gum
(f) used = used
