Elger's Map Of The Moon (1955)

Description:  This is an original map, not a recent reprint.  This is the revised 1955 edition.  Open, it measures 73 x 50cm (28.5 x 20 inches).  Elger's Map of the Moon refers to a historical astronomical publication that provides a detailed representation of the moon's surface. The map was originally created by Thomas Gwyn Elger and later revised by H. P. Wilkins. It was published by George Philip & Sons, with different editions available over the years.

Condition:  Acceptable.  It has some discolouration and defects such as little rips and some splitting on some fold creases.  A few features on the lunar surface have been coloured in.  There is a small stamp on the back cover.  I have a video clip highlighting them however I do not have a Youtube account and therefore would need to find an alternative way of showing anyone interested (for now it can be viewed on another selling platform where I have an account).
