Early 19th Century/Regency Gentleman/Mr Darcy Character.

 Cast by me from fine quality bisque porcelain, this Regency style gentleman is a typical Mr Darcy charater.

He is dressed in the style of the day for a wealthy man and has ‘tousled’ dark brown hair and sideburns, as was fashionable in this era.

He wears a smart tail coat of wine coloured silk, trimmed with braid and tiny golden ‘buttons’. Underneath is a silk brocade waistcoat, worn over light brown cotton breeches and real leather black riding boots with tan cuffs.

The white cuffs of his shirt can just be seen under his jacket sleeves and below his shirt collars is a ‘stock’ (neck tie) of ivory silk with a golden jewelled pin.

This doll stands approx six inches tall.

 This doll has a porcelain head, torso, lower arms, and lower legs with a wired, soft and partially pose-able body.

This doll is an ornament intended for adult collectors and should not be given to children to play with.
