All our bits are brand new, and have never been in a horse’s mouth.

This Pelham is excellent for the show season, if desired a bradoon strap can be attached to the loose ring to give the appearance of a double bridle. The loose ring also gives a much better feel than a traditional Pelham.

This bit is ideal for horses with fat tongues, lack space in the mouth or who react badly to having two bits in their mouth. Especially favoured for showing cobs and fine headed horses.

Show pelhams a much tidier alternative to the rugby pelhams, as the loose ring is attached to the shank of the pelham, which makes it harder to spot that it is not a double (see our other auctions for a selection of Rugby Pelhams)
