Before I begin with the details of this auction, I need to make a quick explanation to all my buyers. We have had the care of my elderly mother for some time now. She was afflicted with cancer and Parkinson's. Mom recently passed away. So I want you all to know that my work on my be slower for awhile. I am going to try to work each day, as it keeps my mind focused on something other than my grief. And as many of you know, when you lose a loved one, my mind is in a fog and it is an extremly difficult time. I am going to have to start going through her things and cleaning out her home and this will take alot of my time. But I want to try to stay busy and try to keep listing and try to keep up with shipping and everything. I just ask for your patience with me during this time. If you expect one day turn around, please don't purchase from me right now. I don't want to turn away badly needed business, however, if you cannot give me some understanding right now, please don't purchase right now. Now... Up for bid is a crochet pattern called Martian & Astronaut. It is so cute! The finished demensions for this piece are not given. It is made by following written instruction. This pattern was carefully removed from a digest size magazine. It is in good condition- slightly yellowed and black and white.

There are no returns excepted on patterns for obvious reasons!

If you don't care that your patterns are folded and shipped out in a regular envelope, please contact me prior to paying and I will reduce the price and ship in this manner. I am upset at getting less than 5 stars because I try to ship your patterns in a nice condition!

Hi, I do not do crafts, but I was looking for unique astronaut items & entered you auction. I then read your moving comments regarding your recent circumtances with your mother. I wanted to give you a cyber hug & let you know that I am praying for you.....You will always be her daughter and the love never dies. My mom is close to transitioning now as she has end stage kidney disease. It's heartbreaking... We're all going to be all right.. We just have to embrace the beauty of this world and keep breathing. Marianne, thank you for taking the time to reach out to a stranger with the hug and kind words. I am sorry to hear about your mother too. It is not an easy circumstance to deal with. Altho we are never ready for the loss, I always prayed that mom would not get beyond my care. She did not want to go into a home and fortunatly we were able to keep her in her home till the end. I am sure you are dealing with alot. I look back and wish I hadn't been so frustrated with her all the time, as she fought us every step of the way in what we asked of her to make things easier for all of us. I hope you can have some happy moments with your mom. It has been very difficult. Losing mom bout put me under! There for awhile I couldn't see my way forward. Life without your mother makes you feel like an orphan. I still ca't believe she is gone. Stay strong and please write if you need someone to talk to. I can always remember offering words of condolences- but it really didn't have the depth of feeling that I now understand fom my loss. Thank you so much for reaching out to me! It means alot! Jody
