Intense, bright red -- heck, I can't get the camera to catch the color -- they glow under the camera flash. But I can tell you this, they are red, red, red -- and well cut, throwing gobs of red fire. The nicest thing about this particular mounting is it's low domed effect. It's a ring you can wear all the time -- stick your hands in your jeans pockets and not get hungup, etc. Just plain comfortable. Good for the office, for the evening, or just because.
