Säljarens Beskrivning
Brand new BSA alloy finned sump plate with magnetic drain plug, filter, two gaskets, 4 long studs, 4 nuts and 4 washers. This set includes gauze filter (71-1126).
Also included are 4 reduced hexagon 1/4" 26tpi nuts and 4 washers. Long studs are considered the best option for fitting the sump plate. For BSA 'A' series; A7, A10, RGS models (Can fit A65 but needs machining out or relieving to accommodate aftermarket filter gauze). Good quality.
To replace BSA part number 67-1285 and 41-0620. (Will not fit B25 part number 67-1286).
Thickness
- these sump plates are thicker than original scavenger plates, so they
hang down lower. 37.4mm is the thickness including the screw. Without
the screw, the thickness is 29mm.
A65s may require machining or relieving - If using original filters there should not be a problem . However if used with aftermarket filters, such as the one provided with this set, then machining would be required. Aftermarket gauze filters have a lip on that does not fit flush with the sump plate. Therefore the large hole in the sump plate requires a small amount of machining to accommodate it. If you are unsure or do not have the knowledge/expertise to undertake any machining then please do not buy. Once the sump plate has been damaged in anyway, it cannot be returned.
Includes brand new BSA sump plate filter to fit A7, A10 and A65 (But sump plate will require machining on an A65, see above). Stainless steel. This is a suitable replacement for BSA part number 71-1126. This filter can be used to replace the original welded in filter but also fits this aftermarket alloy sump plate.
