• The Oslo Pass is a cost-effective way of getting around Oslo on public transport and getting into museums without breaking one’s bank account. You can pick a certain No. of days to use it over. Apart from this the pass is a real handbook of all the museums, galleries and tourists’ sights around Oslo. Also covers restaurants, sightseeing tours, spots activities. The maps in the back are really useful and the whole guide is pocket sized. This would be worth getting if you are planning on visiting Oslo (to decide where to visit before your trip) because it is a lot cheaper and probably just as effective as many guidebooks. Though once you are out there you might as well get a new one when you buy an Oslo Pass to get around. Note though that being 2011 it is a few years out of date so some opening times and prices may have changed. Another reason to buy is that if you went to Oslo in 2011, then this might make a nice souvenir.
