Gorgeous sterling silver handle butterknife or preserve spreader.

Fully hallmarked for Sheffield with a crown, lion passant for sterling silver and date letter (b) circa. 1919 with epns blade.

Makers mark HG which it could be one of many my best guess is that of Henry Greaves.

Measures approximately 16.8cm in length and weighs 25.3 grams.

A lovely bright cut antique butterknife spreader having a sterling silver handle with foliage design and an epns blade. Gorgeous antique preserve and butterknife which would be fabulous for early morning breakfast or even tea with scones. Would make a fantastic gift or why not spoil yourself with this beautiful antique silver spreader and enjoy those nicer parts of the day.
