Almandine Garnet, Staurolite, etc in Golden Schist: Small Cabinet Size, Poland

This is a beautiful plate of golden schist with reddish almandine garnet porphyroblasts and rods of staurolite peeking through. Crystals of other minerals have been found in similar material from this general area, so you might want to gently flake away at one of the sides to see what else you may expose. The schist is very sparkly, and will attract a lot of attention sitting in on a windowsill or under other strong lighting. This one is the last of these-catching pieces from my collection! I'm including an acrylic stand so that it may be displayed upright.
