Joy Norman:Field of Diamonds

Just a few days after her 13th birthday, Joy's beautiful rendition of 'Let Me Fish Off Cape St. Mary's' was recorded for the Discovery Channel television program and video about Cape St. Mary's. Since then she has performed at hundreds of venues, sharing stages with many of the finest musicians in Atlantic Canada and beyond. Her showcase in November 2001 at the Music Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador's annual conference was a huge success, gaining her radio, television and newspaper interviews.

Joy's first CD, Lately, was recorded in 2001 when she was 15 years old. Her latest CD, Field of Diamonds, showcases her matured voice and her songwriting skills.

Joy Norman, at only 20 years of age, has just released her second CD Field Of Diamonds. In 2001, she worked with some of Canada's greatest musicians and multi award winning producer Paul Mills on her debut album Lately.

On Field Of Diamonds, Joy has raised the bar higher and her voice has matured even more. Together with Larry Foley of The Punters, who produced the CD, they have found songs from great songwriters that showcase Joy's voice extremely well.
