1999 Newmar Kountry Star 36.5’ 5 th Wheel and 2000 Ford F-350
4-wheel drive Diesel. Together since new, with a complete
maintenance history on both, they have had one careful
operator who maintained them with an open checkbook.

The Truck
It has 215,000 miles, no accidents, no rust (spent winters in
warm climates), and has never sat idle. It features a crew cab,
an 8’ bed and recent tires on the rear and new tires on the
front last September. The PullRite Super 5 fifth-wheel hitch is
installed. The state inspection is good until November 2025. As
you will see from the maintenance records, oil and filter
changes have occurred each 3-5000 miles. The interior is very
clean and never smoked in, giving the appearance of a very low
mile vehicle.
The 7.3 engine is renowned for its durability, with the average
engine running more than 500,000 miles before overhaul and
many reaching one million miles.
The Fifth-wheel
Features a huge slide out with awning on driver’s side and a
recent power awning on curb side. The roof was replaced in
2014, and r was power washed and resealed with Elastcomeric
rubber roof coating last fall, making it maintenance-free for the
next five years. The suspension was gone through last spring
and several components were replaced as needed and the

Wheel bearings were repacked. In total the maintenance done
at this time was over $5,000. The batteries were replaced
06/10/24.
Comments
This is the ideal unit for anyone just moving into Fifth-wheel
ownership. The components have been mated for life and the
sorting out that is required when purchased separately is
eliminated. The ownership and records eliminate much of the
stress of buying the unknown, and I will be happy to spend time
with the new owner, introducing the systems and educating
him or her until they are comfortable.
