This Book draws a clear graphic picture of an important religious reform group in action during a time of injustice and misery - the years of the French Revolution, Napolean and the industrial revolution. The moving force in human progress during this period was a 'brotherhood of Christian politicians', lampooned in Parliament during their lifetime as 'The Saints' and remebered in history as the 'Clapham Sect' led by Wilberforce.
