1906 FORES'S SPORTING NOTES & SKETCHES VOL 23 ILLUSTRATED HARDBACK BOOK (P5)
Great *RARE* antique LARGE hardback book from 1906 which contains bound issues of Fores's Sporting Notes & Sketches quarterly magazine on British, Indian, Colonial and foreign sport. Contains 32 full page illustrations. Photos 1 to 3 show fading to the cover due to moisture years old (most likely cold temperatures) but the pages inside are absolutely fine. Photo 4 shows the lovely gold gilt page edges. Photo 20 shows that the inside cover right black page has been torn out. Photo 21 shows a gap between spine and bulk of pages (common in old thick books) so binding feels a bit wobbly but there are no loose pages. Pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 119 years old.
