"I, Eduard Markmann Junior, Merchant, of 74 Bahnhofstrasse, Elberfeld, in the Empire of Germany, do hereby declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement: The present invention relates to an improvement in means for preserving game fish and other organic substances, and is characterised by the fact that ice made according to this invention will preserve meat, or other organic material, for a longer time than ordinary ice made from pure water..."
