"I, Samuel Lesley Whitfield, Managing Director of Whitfields Bedsteads Limited, of Watery Lane, Birmingham, in the County of Warwick, do hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows: This invention relates to bedtables for cots and bedsteads and has for its object a means whereby the position of such tables can be readily adjusted without damaging the enamelling or japanning of the part of the bedstead upon which the table slides..."
