1795 "THE POETICAL WORKS OF JOHN MILTON" VOL 2 TINY ANTIQUE BOOK (P2)
Great antique tiny miniature 14.5cm tall poetry fine binding hardback book from 1795 which contains the poetical works of John Milton. Volume 2 only. No publication date but research showed this was published in 1795. Photos 4 & 5 show pencil writing on the blank page opposite the title page. Photo prayers and instructions for youthful catholics. Contains illustrations including colour illustrations. Photo 3 shows the lovely gold gilt page edges. Photo 19 shows a personal home library label and a number in pencil on the inside cover. Binding and other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 230 years old.
Measures 14.5cm tall x 9cm wide x 2cm thick. Weighs 160 grams.
