We have obtained a small quantity of this New Old Stock unused and rare vintage radio detector tube made by Marconi in Canada in the 1940's. The valve contains two common Cathode signal diodes and has a 12.6V heater consuming 0.15A of Current. It may be used as either a low current rectifier (up to 50mA) or as a demodulator/detector in a valve based Long Wave or Medium Wave crystal set or radio. This valve was originally used in the British Military Wireless Set No.9 Mk I and the Canadian Wireless Set No. 52 as a detector / AGC and noise limiter and is equivalent to ARDD1, CV523 and 10D1 valves.



Manufactured by Marconi. New Old Stock (NOS) with an British P5 five pin base (see our store for suitable P4/P5 ceramic socket or valve base).
