Seller's Description

This is a postcard showing a view from the control tower at the Gatun Locks on the Panama Canal, with two cargo ships passing through.  The card was posted to Puerto Rico in 1968 with a Canal Zone stamp, and also has a cachet from the receiving post office marked 'Addressee unknown".

The card is in fair condition with some wear to the corners and edges, and some marks on the back.    It is the larger modern size, and the edges are slightly serrated.

Please see some other Panama Canal cards, currently on sale, as well as other nautical items.
