Seller's Description
This is a postcard showing a view of the USN Farragut-class destroyer USN Macdonough (see more history here). It was published by the well-known British firm of Wright & Logan, and is unposted. There is a stamp on the back saying ‘Rough proof - must be returned’, as well as some pencil comments noting, amongst other things, that the vessel was present at Pearl Harbour during the Japanese attack in December 1941.
The card is in fair condition with minor wear to the corners and edges, and some marks.
