Hello there and welcome (kroeso) to my wee store.

I sell online in high-end shops and websites and pre-Covid used to attend trade fairs around the globe.  I have a huge stock of "bargain basement" items which were great at fairs for inexpensive extras.  I also have a massive stock of highly valuable and collectable items never seen before on the internet.

I find it heart-breaking that brooches such as this no longer seem to have the appeal they once did as they are one of the most versatile pieces of jewellery you could have.
A quality brooch like this could be worn on so many pieces of clothing providing an elegant statement.

ABOUT THIS BROOCH
Constructed from solid 9ct rosey gold (375 parts per 1000).
EU maker assay marked and X-ray tested.
Dates to latter part of the 19th Century (c1900)
The style is very eye catching with superb micro mosaic floral designs using semi precious gemstones.
Fastens with a gold hinged pin and full safety clasp - all in good order.
Condition is very good, especially considering its age.

Length is 29.5mm.
Width is 19.5 mm.
It sits 9.5 mm proud.
Weight is 6 grams (I don't sell items of this quality by weight anyways)

You would expect to pay between £750 and £1,250 for a brooch like this at a fancy antique shop, depending on your ability to hunt down a bargain.

CONDITION REPORT
Many of my brooches are VERY old and have some signs of this.  I ensure they are fully operational and can be worn from arrival but I do not like polishing them to "as new" because I feel this detracts from their history.  I will consider doing so, for a small fee, if you ask nicely ;-)
