What a beautiful item I have for you today:
1963 ANNIVERSARY MEDAL FOR POPE IOANNES XXIII IN SOLID STERLING SILVER
DETAILS:
A very large medal, beautifully detailed to celebrate the anniversary of Pope Ioannes XXIII.
I think this must be a mis-strike beecause the medal denotes the anniversary as 1958-1963 (5 years) whereas the medal states X Anniversario which (if my Latin serves correctly) is the 10th anniversary.
Either way it is a beautiful piece of history which I have not researched and am selling as the medal alone, not for potential mis-strike value.
