I can see now why the camera is so good. Most Kodak cameras were pretty run-of-the-mill, but a few in the latter years had superb lenses and were made under licence. Lens on this is a Schneider-Kreuznach. Such a shame that this camera has died. In most cases the card reader section is part of the main motherboard in this type of camera so beyond repair.

How interesting. It is quite heavy, but has always good me in good stead until the last couple of years when card played up.
This was purchased for my first foray onto the other side - must be around ten years ago so can't grumble at its good service.

Ten years ago is about right. The camera retailer I was working for "went bust" that year, so I retired...well I had passed retirement age anyway!
