Money back?

Hi there,

i bought something off a man for £32.48. The item came with a 14-day money back guarantee.
After receiving the item i did not like it as it was no where near as described so upon communication with the seller i returned the item.

After this i have received no replies from him, no communication and no refund.

I emailed paypal. Opened a dispute and they refuse to have anything to do with it as they can only help if the item was not delivered or if the item was bought off Ebay..

I am really disappointed and dont know what to do. Please help.

You can still open a PP dispute in an attempt to get your money back - though this will only work if the seller has money in their PP account.

If you financed the purchase via credit card (which you should always do as it affords greater protection) you can raise a chargeback with your card issuer over a 'credit dispute' - i.e. you have returned the goods and the seller owes you credit.

Hopefully you returned the item recorded delivery.

This is just not right. I have had PayPal refund from a non-performing seller on this site and the payment was funded by funds in my account. They will open a dispute for items not as described and returned, or not delivered.
Please take another look at your PayPal account.
And please let eBid know about this seller as well - they are very good about helping.
