My listing for a "Chessie Folding Pocket Knife" has dissappeared. There is no trace of it in my E-Bid either. What happened ?????????

UPDATE - Removed Collectables > Swords & Knives category. After reviewing the effectiveness of our keyword alert system for dangerous knives and bladed weapons it has been decided that this will be a never ending cat and mouse game with the sellers of these items. The sale of all knives, swords and machetes is now not permitted on eBid.

I was just looking at something else in the selling list & noticed it says,
"Recopied media
......Likewise, you cannot sell transferred media--whether laserdisc to video, CD-ROM to cassette tape, or from the Internet to any digital format--unless explicitly approved by the author "
Surely,if you are the author then you have permission to make copies, has this been added recently?
Apologies for the delay in response...
RESULT!!!!

Hi Rob
After your email we had a long conversation in house and have decided that linux open software can be listed. We appreciate your help and patience.

A HAPPY ENDING )
Just to recap as it went slightly off topic, the rules of Open Sourced media is different from standard CD or software:
I am not breaking any legal rules as the GPL rules entitle me to make copies and sell them at my own accord:
http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/gpl.html
Now all that's left is for me to add each and every article back onto eBid, time consuming to say the least!
as for 8 forum entries I was referring to software entries specifically,
which is where I would have thought would be the place to look for answers regarding software selling rules.
Good you got a result mate. It's a shame they seem to only allow certain people to do it. I've been threatened with a ban for selling GPL software and had my forum posts deleted when I ask about it.
They won't respond to direct email either and just ignore the issue.
My company has been bundling, manufacturing and selling GPL software since 1995 and the ONLY platform that won't allow me to do it is EBid. They do however, allow others to do it.
Great. You pay for the use of their platform and they won't even answer a question about it.
