Hello Texasada, Yes I am able to log on to eBid using Firefox. I do not have any problems accessing other internet sites using my version of IE6. Last year certain versions of IE6 were blocked by eBid because one of the virus protection companies was effecting a hugely increased volume of traffic to eBid and it was overwhelming the site. To prevent the site constantly crashing, the eBid team denied access to these versions of IE6 which were at the source of the problem. I do not know what the problem is this time around but the reason why I put up the thread was so that somebody at eBid could have a look at it. Many thanks, Best Wishes, Robert

I haven't been able to access the site for a week now.

I am using IE6 too. Have emailed support but they didn't really seem interested.

Have borrowed a friend's machine to get on to check my account

Must admit I am not impressed - have not had any problems on any other site at all

Am considering taking my store offline, but am reluctant to do so as I might miss one of my very infrequent sales!!!

Well I seem to be able to get on to the forums now - excellent.

But can't seem to access the rest of the site

Suggestion to ebid: if the site is still refusing to work with IE6, is there a message being displayed when this happens? It's all very well for experienced users who know what the problem is, but new users who are potential buyers may be leaving assuming the site simply doesn't work at all. A note to explain the IE6 problem might at least rescue a few of these people who are prepared to try with a different browser.
