Post The new kid on the block...

    Everything looks good around here!

Auctions, very simple, how they should be.

Sacked off eBay because, its crap, had a few problems with them.

I sold and sent off a item, they said they didn't have it, I gave them their money back, then eBay says that I deserve to have my seller account blocked for 4 weeks and my bank removed with my Paypal account.

Plus, everything around here looks so right, so simple, so easy! I'll see how my first auction goes, if it goes well, eBay will be gone for good.

I don't sell anything in particular, just things around the house...

This is a good site and growing. But it is a lot slower, so you need patience. And the more variety you offer for sale, the more likely you will make a sale. ( That's my opinion, anyway)

Welcome, only joined here last month too, not made a sale yet we still sell on the other site but as meebo say's we've just got to be patient. Mind you our sales are BIN's maybe would do better on the auctions.

You might consider offering both. A lot of sales are BIN, and when there is a bid it often stays at one. So starting bid is best at the lowest you are willing to accept

Yes, look at the forums for hints on selling here. It is slightly different from feebay. There are perhaps 20 hints that will help you with those first sales/feedbacks.

Your story is soooooo familiar. If you were a US seller I would recommend you contact your State Attorney General who would contact feebay and give them deadline for providing explanation for your suspension. Detailing your fees is always an eyeopener, we just had a new buyer on ebid, who sold like $200,000 worth of items a year on feebay and got suspended with little explanation too.

I was reinstated and basically said no thank you (no thank you 25% fees, no thank you uneven application of policies, etc). Does Uk have a government consumer protection service that is international?

In any case, email/postal mail all your customers, tell them to come on over, and search the forums for tips on selling on ebid.

    Welcome!
