Good morning everyone. Nice to see so many people here today! I'm off celebrating all day - family birthdays - but will make up for it tomorrow!

yes both home and doing well thankyou got plans today (family birthday ) but will be back to listing tomorrow i promise , got a few hits yesterday so hopefully i can make them back up as soon as ive managed to get my camera batteries charged up again

Was up early this morning to raid a vides-grenier but was forced to give up as it was drizzling quite hard and stallholders kept covering the goodies with plastic so I couldn't see - maybe we should get some of that to protect eBid listings!! Also the entrance to the field where I had parked my car was turning into a quagmire so I decided discretion was the better part of valour as I didn't fancy having to be rescued by a tractor!!
Found one piece of Cristal d'Arques (a glass peacock) which is not to my personal taste but collectable - so will be happy to list it.
It is hard to think of parting with some of the things I find but for the good of the Army.....

We were lucky over here there was a shower around 6.00am but since then it's been sunny so there was a bit of mud but not too bad. Found some really nice things - oh and St Agnes might be popping into eBid again soon Korporal KLJ so keep a lookout for her although she's dressed a little more plainly this time and not so decorative!

Thanks for the reminder; it's been a few weeks since I checked for (and reported) the illegal, counterfeit items that ruin auction sites.

Don't worry, Pte. Pipeau - think of it as showing off what you've found rather than parting with it. After all, NOTHING EVER SELLS ON AN ALTERNATIVE SITE!


Come on troops, I know it's a bank holiday weekend and the end of the YDC but I'm not going to believe that there were almost three thousand items in the YDC this month.
