Design theft

I have just reported one of our sellers for selling over 100 of MY DESIGNS on 15 address label auctions. This is such a Shame. The seller has done this before, while we were both selling on eBay. So this is Fair Warning to anyone. . .who thinks it is OK to simply filch designs and then try to sell them commercially. . .Designs are protected under US Copyright Laws. . .this is a US Seller. I police my designs regularly on the Internet and will NOT tolerate this theft. Ann K. Maggieross Designs

If you don't have a copyright you have a problem. And litigation is expensive.

I have many, many items and designs to sell. So happy to have found this new venue, even if it was a backdoor entry upon finding my designs at auction here.

eBid's Security Department is excellent. . .and I am now OFFICIALLY registered with them.

ALL of my designs carry copyright. . .and I carry a large stick. . . :0). . .

Did I mention that the seller in question NO LONGER SELLS ON eBay? Yah

Well - if what you say is correct, I'm sure that if admin know about it, that seller will not be selling on here for very much longer!!

Oh, yes, I've notified them, signed a formal complaint, listed all 15 auctions in that complaint, etc.

No, eventually she will get the point and stop filching designs. . . .

Very interesting, I can see you won't think much of me. You sound pretty tough, might be i should not post in this thread. I make labels too, and i give away much much more than i sell. If you want to see my labels, i sell them in the YDC, to raise money for charity, and i hope you will too. Its just a hobby to me, but you might cause me to hang out a shingle. I wish you success here, there are some fantastic people here, any help you need can be found right here in the forums. I'll look forward to see some of your work. I hope you don't have a copyright on the alphabet, we will all be in trouble.
